Text Box: The fifth annual "Be the Change" Concert was held Sunday, September 28, 2008  at First Unitarian Church, in downtown Louisville.  This year's choir was  led by Cynthia Fletcher and Harry Pickens.  Musical guests included John Gage and Carol Kraemer.  Dawne Gee of WAVE 3 TV was our emcee.
Once again, youth and adults raised their voices together in song, while raising funds for the work of the Peace Education Program.  Audience members were in awe of the choir and left inspired after hearing stories of hope from Peace Education Program staff members Eileen Blanton,  Carrie Christensen, Ramzi Sabree and Janene Shakir.

Cherokee Triangle Art Fair

On April 25th and 26th, Peace Education Program's Pride Without Prejudice Youth Leaders, Board Members, numerous volunteers and staff operated the Children's Art Tent at the annual Cherokee Triangle Art Fair.  Over 800 youth and their parent(s) visited the art tent during the two day event.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to our sponsors who helped to make it possible as well as to our donors who gave us flowers and materials for some of our projects.

The youth caught Derby Fever and it was displayed in their hat creations.  Which is your favorite?  Check out the
