Peace
Education Program offers site based trainings for young people in school
settings, community centers, places of worship, etc. These trainings
include conflict resolution, mediation training and cooperative games.

Program.
Social skills and conflict coping strategies are essential to success in school,
community and life. Peace Education Program is troubled by the increasing
reliance on standardized testing as the primary tool for measuring success.
We also recognize the reality facing our public school teachers, and the
pressure on both them and their students to improve test scores. In order
to continue to support the emotional growth of our young people, we have matched
up our current services with the core content guidelines for the state of
Kentucky. Click here to view the Core
Content Guidelines and Peace Education Program's Lessons.
As well as offering trainings to young people, Peace
Education Program offers adult trainings for adults who work with youth.
The trainings include prejudice reduction, conflict resolution and mediation as
well as cooperative games. For a sample of adults workshops offered
