Rage-A-Saurus Rex Explores Feelings
Peace Education Program is
partnering with the Squallis Puppeteers to provide a new program of
early childhood workshops on conflict resolution. A trainer
from Peace Education Program and a puppeteer from Squallis
Puppeteers are working together to create and present a preschool
program that teaches communication skills, feelings identification
and problem solving.

Peace Ed's Mentoring Evolution
Currently the
Peace Education Navigators Mentoring Program is in its third year.
Over the course of the last two years, in conjunction with my
masters level social work program, an investigation into what
characteristics are needed in order to make the Navigators Program
more effective has taken place.

The Peace Education Program strengthens communities and schools
by
training youth and adults to build and sustain positive relationships.
We do this by providing learning experiences to reduce violence,
enhance personal integrity and foster mutual respect. We teach
Conflict Resolution, Peer Mediation and Prejudice Reduction.
