Thank you for celebrating with us and making “Give Peace A Dance” such a huge success! Your donations to the work of Peace Education Program helped us raise $12,000 in advance of the dance. We raised an additional $4,000 at the door and with the silent auction! There was some exiting bidding and counter bidding. The trip to the Outer Banks, Four Seasons Hotel Gift Card, the Spa and Salon Package were particularly popular. Special thanks go out to Amy Shelton who organized much of the silent auction and dance this year.

The dance lessons were a crowd favorite. Returning instructors Shelly Hackett, Margie Redmon and Jay Wepler wowed the group with their simple and clear instructions. The DJ, Matt Simons, even joined the Pride Without Prejudice youth leaders in a few line dances. The dance floor was packed with many new faces and willing learners. It was a delight to have so many of you return to our event again this year. Together we are creating many paths toward the goal of making nonviolent conflict resolution possible in our homes, in our community and schools, our places of worship and businesses. Thank You!!
