Peace Education Program offers site based trainings for young people in school settings, community centers, places of worship, etc.  These trainings include conflict resolution, mediation training and cooperative games.  Click here for a sample of youth workshops offered by Peace Education Program.

Social skills and conflict coping strategies are essential to success in school, community and life.  Peace Education Program is troubled by the increasing reliance on standardized testing as the primary tool for measuring success.  We also recognize the reality facing our public school teachers, and the pressure on both them and their students to improve test scores.

As well as offering trainings to young people, Peace Education Program offers adult trainings  for adults who work with youth.  The trainings include prejudice reduction, conflict resolution and mediation as well as cooperative games.  For a sample of adults workshops offered by Peace Education Program click here.

What do others say  about our workshops and trainings?

● I have nothing but positive things to say about the training and the facilitators. My staff and I were able to take back some great ideas to incorporate into our youth programs and also our staff. Great job!!

This was an excellent opportunity to refresh my bag of counseling games / tricks and to motivate me for the rest of the school year.

Excellent trainers who gave wonderful insight on using skills for conflict resolution. I can’t wait to begin these activities with our students.

"I was lucky to attend the Training of Educators workshop with our friends from Rwanda, New York, Northern Indiana and other places.  What a gift!  I learned so much from each of the attendees that I can take back to share with my teachers, staff and students at St. Agnes School."
Betsy Dragoo, St. Agnes Catholic School

"The program was extremely hands-on and I left with materials to immediately begin training peer mediation.  Great workshop!"
Elise Maller, Warsaw IN Community High School
